Important Details

Following are some details of the auction evening that each of you will want to know…

Family donations

We do encourage families to make a donation to the silent auction. By adding a donation to this event you are contributing a great deal. Thank you to those of you who have already turned in your donation!

What type of things do other families donate? Business services, personal talents, gift baskets, new store bought items and gift certificates.

Some ideas for a basket are: crafts, spa, snacks, gourmet foods, baby, movie night, ice cream social, health, spice, cooking, car wash, fishing, for pets only, for men only, for ladies only, books, beach, gardener, sports lover, BBQ, picnic, holiday, special occasion, etc.

Is there a dollar amount we should be shooting for? No. All we ask is that the donated items are new.

What is the deadline for turning my donation in? The deadline for items to be turned in to the office is Thursday the 24th. That is this week! Please don’t forget to fill out your donation form and turn it in along with your donation. (There are more forms in the school office if you need one.)

We will be turning in the information for the evening program book to the printers at 9am on Friday the 25th. You will want to have your donation included in the program so we will need to have your item and donation form by the 24th.

Should we invite other family members and friends to attend, or is this just for Covenant families? Invite your family and friends. Everyone is welcome!

RSVP/Registration

We suggest you RSVP on or before Monday, February 28.

Please call the school office to have your name and contact info added to the registration list OR if you received and evite, RSVP to that. We need to get a good count of how many people are coming so we know how much food to have there. By having your name added to the registration list, this allows us to put registration packets together before the auction and have it ready for you when you check in at the event. This makes the check in process much easier and smoother for us and for you.

We will have extra packets on hand for the people who you invite at the last minute. If there is someone who isn’t able to RSVP before that evening you can still bring them.

Check out

We accept payment by cash, personal checks, and PayPal.

Keep checking back for new posts on the items that will be at the auction for bidding. There are some exciting items coming. I can’t wait to show you the classroom projects!

The first two people to give a basket idea will win a $5 voucher! Post your idea in the comment link.

Auction Details

RSVP

Please RSVP on or before February 28.

Child Participation

We will have the children participate in the live auction. Preschool through 5th grade will be performing together then the middle school will be doing some skits. They are excited to be able to participate this year so we ask that you set this date aside so that your child can participate in this fun event.

We have the gym reserved for the children to have pizza and supervised games during the live auction.

The gym is available to us for the children. There will be adults and responsible teenagers with the children while the adults enjoy the live auction. Even though there is a designated area for the children, they will also have a little freedom to experience the auction.

We also have the nursery available to us for walkers to 2 years old. This will be highly supervised!

If you have an infant, feel free to bring your child as well. There will be freedom to have your infant in the auditorium with you.

We will have a planned child check-in process for you as parents to know that your child is safe.

Silent Auction

We will have a smaller silent auction this year. We will have the teachers, Office Williams and Covenant family donations this year. We may make a few exceptions outside of these but it will be minimal.

We encourage each family to donate at least one silent auction item this year.

Auctioneer

I am excited to tell you that we have a new auctioneer this year. His name is Jonathan Kraft. He has won awards for his skill/talent at auctioneering. He brings personality and fun to the live auction. I really think you will enjoy having him this year.

Appetizers & Desserts

Food will be provided by Yesterday’s in Granger again this year. As most of you know, Evonne always does a fabulous job with the food! You will not be disappointed.

More details to come …

We are giving away TWO $5 vouchers this time! The first two people to post a comment will win a voucher.
