Fish and Spaghetti Night

Remember the delicious food at the auction? It was all donated by Yesterday's in Granger. Yesterday's is again being generous in offering a wonderful Fish and Spaghetti night to benefit Covenant Christian School.

Fish was chosen because of Lent and spaghetti was chosen because many children don't like fish. :) The fish dinner includes fish and waffle fries and the children's spaghetti dinner includes spaghetti and a cheesy bread stick. We would love to have your entire family will enjoy dinner together.

All you need to do is:

1. Purchase your tickets in the school office by Tuesday, March 22. (The reason for purchasing tickets in advance is that Yesterday's special orders the fish for us. They will need a good count on how many to order.) The cost: Adults - $12 and Children (3-10) is $5. For those of you who have been to Yesterday's before, you know that this is a great deal!
2. Invite your family and friends.
   
3. Take your tickets to Yesterday's with you sometime between 4:00pm and 9:00pm on the 24th.
   
4. Enjoy your dinner!

I wanted to post a Thank You to those of you who came to the Pennies from Heaven Auction this past Friday evening.

So many have given us feedback on what they thought of the evening event and it's been all positive so far. I'm so glad everyone enjoyed themselves. Some of us prayed before the auction began and one of the things we prayed for was that everyone would enjoy themselves.

The question "How much did we raise?" keeps coming my way. As always the grand total doesn't come quickly. This always takes time. We are close to getting the total so at this point I am only able to give you a "ballpark" amount. Are you ready? ... so far we have over $20,000.

God is good! He promised all along that he is in the midst of the auction event and He certainly came through.
